Savannah Guthrie‘s loved ones are suffering a devastating situation right now as the matriarch of the family, Nancy, 84, is currently missing.

According to authorities, Nancy was last seen in Catalina Foothills area near her Arizona home on Saturday night (January 31) at approximately 9:45 pm local time.

There have been updates about possible ransom notes, unfounded rumors about suspects, and more.

A Timeline of Nancy Guthrie’s Disappearance, So Far:

January 31, around 9:45 pm local time: Nancy is reportedly last seen by family members after being dropped off at her home.

Overnight on January 31-February 1: Authorities have stated that the believe she was taken from the home sometime overnight.

Sunday, February 1: A member of Nancy‘s church reportedly alerted a family member that Nancy did not attend church. The Sheriff said the family “did some searching and realized, ‘We need some help,’ and they called 911.”

Late night February 1-February 2: News breaks that Nancy is missing.

February 2, morning: Savannah Guthrie is not on the Today show broadcast. She released a statement on the show – “On behalf of our family, I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers, and messages of support,” the statement read. “Right now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom. We thank law enforcement for their hard work on this case and encourage anyone with information to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900.”

February 2, morning: We learn that Nancy needs her medication. The Sheriff also updates: “I think I told you she is very limited in her mobility. We know she didn’t just walk out of there. That we know. There are other things at the site…that indicate …she did not leave on her own. We know that.”

February 2: We learn that the investigation is being treated as a “crime.”

February 2: We also learn they believe she could have been abducted from the home.

February 2, late at night: Savannah releases second statement – “we believe in prayer. we believe in voices raised in unison, in love, in hope. we believe in goodness. we believe in humanity. above all, we believe in Him. thank you for lifting your prayers with ours for our beloved mom, our dearest Nancy, a woman of deep conviction, a good and faithful servant. raise your prayers with us and believe with us that she will be lifted by them in this very moment. we need you. “He will keep in perfect peace those whose hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” a verse of Isaiah for all time for all of us. Bring her home.”

February 3: TMZ reports that they received a ransom note, followed by suspicious looking red spatter seen in photos outside of Nancy’s home.

February 3: We learn that Savannah Guthrie is understandably not participating in NBC’s Winter Olympics coverage in Italy.

February 4: Unfounded rumors emerge that a suspect is being looked at.

February 4: The Sheriff says he believes Nancy is alive.

February 4: More details emerge from the ransom note as well.
