Son of "Turn Down for What" Rapper Lil Jon Reported Missing in Georgia
As the FBI and local authorities in Arizona continue looking for Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Today anchor Savannah Guthrie, in what has developed into a dire situation, it appears that another celeb’s relative has also been reported missing. On February 3, the police department in Milton, Georgia, issued a missing person alert for the son of Grammy Award-winning rapper Lil Jon. 27-year-old Nathan Smith, who goes by DJ Young Slade, was last seen leaving his home around 6 AM on the morning of Monday, February 2. At the time of publication, Lil Jon himself had not issued a public statement on the matter.

According to a Milton Police Department post:
“Nathan Smith was last seen in the vicinity of Baldwin Dr./Mayfield Rd. in Milton on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 @ 0600 hours. Subject ran out of his house and has been missing since. Subject left on foot and does not possess a phone. He may be disoriented and in need of assistance. Family and friends are concerned for his safety.
“Please contact the non-emergency dispatch line @ 678-297-6300 option 1 if his whereabouts are known.”
It should also be noted that Smith is around 5’9 and 150 pounds, with brown eyes and short black hair.

DJ Young Slade Is Following in the Musical Footsteps of His Father, Lil Jon
As reported on Real 95.9, DJ Young Slade is happy to be following in his father’s footsteps and credits the “Shots” rapper for helping him develop his artistry in the music business. In return, Lil Jon appears to be eager to help his son, allegedly once stating:
“I’ve given him [DJ Young Slade] a lot of advice. As he's gotten older, he talks to me a lot more and asks for more advice because he literally got an encyclopedia of music right here.”
