Savannah Guthrie's Missing Mother: Is There a Suspect? Sheriff Provides Update Amid Rumors
The Pima County Sheriff’s office has provided Just Jared with an update on Savannah Guthrie‘s missing mother, Nancy, 84.
Detectives believe Nancy was taken against her will, possibly during the overnight hours this past weekend.
The Sheriff told JJ that they’ve been in contact with the Guthrie family and “they continue to receive updates as the investigation progresses.”

With regard to a suspect, they said: “At this time, no suspects have been identified. Detectives continue to speak with anyone who may have had contact with Mrs. Guthrie. We are also awaiting additional forensic results.”
The next media briefing is planned for Thursday (February 5), but they will be updating the public should any developments happen.
Investigators have said they are examining signs that suggest forced entry, as well as what appears to be blood found inside and outside the property.
Savannah has thanked supporters for their prayers as NBC confirmed she is stepping away from her Winter Olympics coverage plans to focus on her family during the ongoing investigation.
