Teacher banned for having an OnlyFans account called ‘granny schoolteacher’
A primary school teacher has been banned from the profession after it was revealed she worked as a porn actor on OnlyFans under the title ‘granny schoolteacher’.
Lyndi Corston, 61, was caught after a colleague spotted a push notification from the subscription service on her phone while working at Rye Community Primary School in Sussex in September 2024.
At the time, Corston insisted her OnlyFans account only involved nudity, not sex acts, and that it was not in her name.
After agreeing to close down her account and sign an enhanced code of conduct, Corston was able to keep her job.
But later, her agency, Engage Education, based in London, also learned she had been identified performing full sex acts on a pornographic website under the title ‘granny schoolteacher’.
She was referred to the Teaching Regulations Agency, where she admitted the full facts and said her conduct was unprofessional.
A tribunal has banned her from teaching after finding that, although teachers have a right to a private life, there is a limit to the scope of professional regulation.
The panel wrote: ‘She was plainly at risk of being recognised, which happened, and that in turn brings public confidence into consideration.
‘She chose to be depicted in the manner she was and willingly participated in a publicly accessible pornographic video and a personal OnlyFans account.
‘She was in a position of responsibility as a teacher, and members of the public rightly expect teachers to set a good example.’
The tribunal panel said that although the OnlyFans was conducted outside of school, it was linked to the way she fulfilled her teaching role.
They added: ‘It could potentially have led to pupils being exposed to, or influenced by, the behaviour in a harmful way.’

There was some evidence of insight, whereby Ms Corston now recognised and accepted that her behaviour was wrong, the tribunal report reads.
However, the panel noted that when first challenged about her OnlyFans account, her response was that she did not necessarily regret her choice and alluded to the right to a private life outside of her teaching
After considering the reason why Corston had taken up the work, which was redacted from the tribunal ruling, the panel decided to allow a two-year review period.
This means Corston may be able to return to teaching in the future, with the first review date set for January 2028.
