Adult care center operators buy buildings in San Jose Willow Glen area
SAN JOSE — The operators of a South Bay adult behavioral management center have bought three commercial buildings in the Willow Glen district of San Jose in a sign that the lively neighborhood continues to attract real estate investors.
Patrick Laurel and Aileen Laurel, acting through an affiliate, have paid $4 million to buy the buildings, which occupy adjacent sites on Lincoln Avenue in San Jose, documents filed on Feb. 3 with the Santa Clara County Recorder’s Office show.
One building is at 2061 Lincoln, and the other two are at 2075 Lincoln, according to the property files and a marketing brochure for the properties. The just-sold sites also include a surface parking lot that adjoins all three buildings.
Together the three buildings total about 6,700 square feet, according to a marketing brochure circulated by SVN | Capital West Partners principal executive Robin Santiago.
The two people who headed up the entity that bought the properties operate San Jose-based Apollo Adult Day Program, an organization that provides services for people with developmental and behavioral challenges.
It wasn’t immediately clear how Patrick Laurel and Aileen Laurel intend to use the properties they have just bought. The marketing brochure states that one of the buildings could be ideal for an owner-user.
The Willow Glen district is one of San Jose’s most vibrant neighborhoods, offering a mix of shops and restaurants.
