Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi Buy California Home After Leaving U.S. for England in 2024
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are buying another home in the United States.
The 68-year-old former daytime TV talk show host and the 53-year-old Arrested Development actress bought a house in California, according to a new report.
The move follows their decision to relocate to Cotswolds, England in November of 2024.

That said, this house is apparently not for them to fully return to the United States.
“She’s not moving back to the U.S. but will continue to split her time between both the U.K. and Montecito, [Calif.],” according to a People real estate source.
They’ve “missing the California weather and horse scene” since the move, the insider clarified.
“Portia loves polo and her horses.”
According to The Wrap, Donald Trump‘s second election win was their “primary motivation” to head to the UK back in 2024, but they did think “a fresh start couldn’t hurt” after being “canceled” several years back over allegations about a toxic work environment.
Ellen and Portia have become known for their vast real estate portfolio over the years.
