Telaiya Dam hosts 11K migratory birds this season, rare Falcated Duck sighted
Koderma's Telaiya Dam witnessed a significant bird census, recording around 11,000 migratory birds and, for the first time, the rare Falcated Duck. This species, originating from East Siberia and Mongolia, highlights the dam's ecological importance. Birdwatchers are urging enhanced conservation efforts for the water body's habitat, which faces challenges from development projects.
