Three charged after $33.8M cocaine seizure at ea
Three Barbadian men have been charged following the seizure of 676 kilogrammes of cocaine during a joint maritime operation off the coast of Barbados.

The accused are Silverton Lewis Clarke, 55, of Emerald Park East, St Philip; Ronaldo Jabari Carrington, 33, of Lot 30, Lower Burney, Haggatt Hall, St Michael; and Ryan Adrian Kelly-Prescod, 39, of Jones Road, My Lords Hill, St Michael.
They have each been charged with possession, intent to supply and trafficking.
Police said the drugs were discovered aboard a Barbadian-registered fishing vessel intercepted on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. The operation involved the French Navy, the Regional Security System, the Barbados Police Service Narcotics Unit and the Barbados Defence Force Coast Guard Unit.
The cocaine has an estimated street value of $33,830,000 Barbados currency.
Clarke, Carrington and Kelly-Prescod are scheduled to appear in the District ‘A’ Court today and were remanded to Dodds until March 3rd.
