Fixtures
- Hibernian Vs. Dundee United - Wed, Feb 04 2026, 19:45
THE LOWDOWN
David Gray's men are looking to build on Sunday's 0-0 home draw against Rangers - which saw three new signings debut off the bench.
Kai Andrews had an earlier introduction than expected after Miguel Chaiwa's premature exit, before Irish forward Owen Elding and Spurs loanee Dane Scarlett were brought on in the second half.
Following Sunday's draw, we have now lost just once in our last seven league fixtures and sit fifth in the Premiership table.
TEAM NEWS
Grant Hanley was also forced off on Sunday, due to a hamstring injury, and is ruled out for this match. He joins Jamie McGrath, Josh Mulligan, Chris Cadden, and Warren O'Hora on the injury list.
Miguel Chaiwa - who was substituted in the first half against Rangers due to a facial injury - has trained with the squad and is available for selection.
Sunday's match came too soon for Josh Campbell, but the midfielder has fully returned to training this week and is fit to play against Dundee United.
Our three Deadline Day arrivals - wing-back Felix Passlack, centre-back Munashe Garananga and forward Ante Suto - have all trained with the squad and could each debut on Wednesday evening.
THE VISITORS
Dundee United are currently eighth in the league standings; having accrued 25 points from 24 games.
Jim Goodwin's side last picked up three points in December - by sealing a 3-1 away win over Livingston - following three league defeats to kick-off to 2026.
Whilst breezing past Ayr United in the Scottish Cup, the Tangerines have lost to Dundee, Celtic and Hearts since the turn of the year in Premiership encounters.
In their last outing - a 3-0 loss to Hearts at Tannadice - the home team finished the match with just nine players on the park due to the dismissals of Amar Fateh and Panutche Camara.
We have faced United twice this season, with both matches ending in a draw as a six-goal thriller at Easter Road in September was followed by a 1-1 tie right before Christmas.
