Rumphi Youth Endorse Dr. Matthews Mtumbuka

Youth leaders from various youth clubs in Rumphi Central Constituency have endorsed Dr. Matthews Mtumbuka as a suitable candidate for the Member of Parliament seat ahead of the March 17 by-election.

The youth say Dr. Mtumbuka has demonstrated visionary leadership and a strong commitment to youth development in the area.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Samuel Kondowe said Dr. Mtumbuka has already contributed significantly to youth empowerment initiatives, including the revamping of the Rumphi Youth Centre, which has enhanced productivity among young people.

Kondowe added that Dr. Mtumbuka’s Youth Manifesto has inspired confidence and hope among the youth, describing it as practical and responsive to their needs.

He said the youth believe they will directly benefit from Dr. Mtumbuka’s leadership once elected.

In his response, Dr. Mtumbuka thanked the youth for the endorsement and commended them for their active participation in development initiatives within the constituency.

Dr. Mtumbuka also urged young people to take an active role in the development of Rumphi Central Constituency and encouraged them to participate in the electoral process by voting in large numbers during the March 17 by-election.

The meeting brought together youth from Runyina, Bumba, Umodzi, Mayembe, Jaghala, and Salawe Youth Clubs.
