Kevin Kaduk, who helped launch CHGO, let go by parent ALLCITY Network
Kevin Kaduk, who helped launch CHGO and became regional content director at parent ALLCITY Network, announced Monday that he’s no longer with the company.
“My time at CHGO and ALLCITY Network came to an end last week,” Kaduk, 47, posted in LinkedIn. “It wasn’t how I was expecting my time there to end, but I’m proud of what we built and what it means for the next steps in my career.”
The Sun-Times has learned his departure was part of a corporate restructuring at ALLCITY, which also eliminated its newsletters in its five markets – Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Philadelphia and Phoenix. Kaduk declined to comment.
In November, ALLCITY let go of Tony Gill, who succeeded Kaduk as CHGO’s head of content. CHGO general manager Jake Flannigan is running the operation. The digital outlet passed 100,000 subscribers in December.
Kaduk helped get CHGO off the ground in 2022 and began overseeing each market in 2024. He made a name for himself at Yahoo Sports, where he wrote the popular “Big League Stew” blog in 2008-13. He then was a lead editor at Yahoo through 2020.
