Latest planning applications in Dartford include plans for mobile breast screening van at Bluewater Shopping Centre
Proposals for a temporary medical screening unit at a shopping centre are among the latest planning applications submitted to Dartford council.
Permission is being sought to install a mobile breast screening van at one of the car parks at Bluewater in Greenhithe.
The unit would be used to provide breast cancer screening services for a period of 18 months, bringing temporary healthcare facilities to the busy retail destination.
Elsewhere, plans have been lodged at Ingress Abbey in Greenhithe to change the use of The Coach House from offices to an independent residential home.
The proposals include the provision of car parking and boundary fencing and are accompanied by an application for listed building consent, reflecting the heritage status of the site.
Another significant submission relates to a waste management facility at Unit 6, Rod End Estate, Northfleet Industrial Estate.
Kent County Council (KCC) is being reconsulted on a verification report confirming the completion and effectiveness of Phase 2 remediation works, alongside a surface water drainage verification report.
