Federal Appeals Court Tosses Justice Department’s Misconduct Complaint Against Judge Boasberg

A federal appeals court tossed out a Justice Department misconduct complaint against Judge James Boasberg.

AS previously reported, DC Chief Judge James Boasberg and other DC Judges admitted bias against the Trump Administration during a March 2025 judicial conference with Chief Justice Roberts, according to a memo obtained by The Federalist.

For the last year, DC Circuit Court Judges have engaged in a judicial coup against President Trump.

Far-left DC judges James Boasberg, Beryl Howell, Chutkan, Berman Jackson and others have ruled against President Trump in every case related to deportations and firings in the Executive Branch.

Boasberg, an Obama appointee, is one of the worst offenders. Judge Boasberg not only demanded planes deporting illegals turn around midair, he said he found probable cause to hold Trump Admin officials in criminal contempt for defying his court order.

According to The Federalist, Boasberg discussed pending lawsuits and actually named a defendant during the judicial conference.

“Federal judge James Boasberg advised Chief Justice John Roberts and some two dozen other judges that his D.C. colleagues were “concern[ed] that the Administration would disregard rulings of federal courts leading to a constitutional crisis,” according to a memorandum obtained exclusively by The Federalist. That Judge Boasberg and his fellow D.C. District Court judges would discuss how a named Defendant in numerous pending lawsuits might respond to an adverse ruling is shocking. Equally outrageous is those judges’ clear disregard for the presumption of regularity — a presumption that requires a court to presume public officials properly discharged their official duties, The Federalist reported.

Last July, US Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the Justice Department filed a misconduct complaint against Judge James Boasberg for making ‘improper public comments’ and admitting bias against the Trump Administration.

The Chief Judge of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals dismissed the complaint and said Boasberg’s comments disparaging Trump don’t constitute a conduct violation.

Judge Sutton is a George W. Bush appointee.

“A federal appeals court threw out the Justice Department’s misconduct complaint that accused the Washington chief federal trial judge of making “improper” remarks about President Donald Trump at a closed-door judiciary meeting last year,” Bloomberg Law reported.

“Chief Judge Jeffrey Sutton of the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit dismissed the complaint against Chief Judge James “Jeb” Boasberg, who is overseeing high-profile litigation over the administration’s decision to send alleged gang members to a Salvadoran prison under a wartime deportation authority,” Bloomberg reported.
