Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor breaks cover after latest Epstein humiliation
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been pictured in public for the first time since photos of him kneeling on all fours over a woman were released in the Epstein Files.
The disgraced former Duke of York has been photographed driving in a Range Rover out of Windsor Castle, which is adjacent to his former home – the Royal Lodge.
Last year, Andrew was told he would be booted out of his former residence, a 30-room mansion in Windsor Great Park, following fresh revelations about his ties to sex offender and financier Epstein.
The last date he was meant to be at the Lodge was January 31. Then he is due to move to a smaller property in Marsh Farm, Norfolk, which is part of the King’s Sandringham estate.

Mountbatten-Windsor, 65, was seen driving out of the royal grounds by himself in the rain.
The photo was released two days after the next tranche of documents relating to Epstein was released by the US Justice Department following a subpoena.
One disturbing image showed him crouching on all fours over a woman who is lying on the floor. In one picture he is looking down at her with his hand on her stomach. Her face has been redacted.
Also included in the documents was an email exchange between Andrew and Epstein.
Andrew previously claimed to have cut contact with Epstein after an investigation was launched in 2006, only getting back in touch to end their relationship in person in late 2010.
However, the former Duke of York invited Epstein to Buckingham Palace where there would be ‘lots of privacy’ on September 27, 2010. Epstein plead guilty to soliciting prostitution and procuring a person under 18 for prostitution in 2008.
In the exchange, Epstein asks when Andrew is free. ‘The Duke’ replied: ‘I am just departing Scotland should be down by 1800. I’ll ring you when I get down if you can give me a number to ring. Alternatively we could have dinner at Buckingham Palace and lots of privacy. A.’
Another email shows that in August 2010, Epstein told the former prince: ‘I have a friend who I think you might enjoy having dinner with.’ He later describes the woman as Russian, 26-years-old and ‘beautiful’.
He responded: ‘Of course. I am in Geneva until the morning of 22nd but would be delighted to see her. Will she be bringing a message from you? Please give her my contact details to get in touch.’
Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing. He faced allegations that he sexually assaulted Virginia Giuffre when she was a teenager. He denied the allegations. He paid her millions to settle a civil sexual assault claim in 2022 on no admission of liability.
Yesterday, Sir Keir Starmer suggested the former prince should testify to US Congress.
The Prime Minister said: ‘In terms of testifying, I have always said anybody who has got information should be prepared to share that information.
‘You can’t be victim-centred if you’re not prepared to do that
‘Epstein’s victims have to be the first priority.’
The Met Police has faced pressure to reopen a probe into Andrew.
