Zaragoza targeted by Roma from Bayern Munich stable
Roma have identified a new target for their attack, as Celta Vigo are ready to terminate Bryan Zaragoza’s loan from Bayern Munich and transfer it to the Giallorossi.
It is no secret that Gian Piero Gasperini has requested more attacking options after the arrival of Donyell Malen and Robinio Vaz.
Multiple sources including Il Messaggero, Sky Sport Italia and Fabrizio Romano confirm that 24-year-old Zaragoza fits the bill and could arrive this weekend.
Zaragoza fits Roma requirements
The Spaniard can play on the left, right, or in a trequartista supporting role.
He joined Celta Vigo in the summer on loan from Bayern Munich with an option to buy at the end of the season, which could become an obligation if certain conditions were met.
Zaragoza contributed two goals and four assists in 26 competitive games for the club.
Sportitalia warn he is one of several options for Roma, but does fit the requirements for Gasperini’s tactics.
Originally a product of the Granada youth academy, he has also played for Osasuna on loan since the €13m transfer to Bayern Munich.
