The Goat’s Surf Forecast
Surf forecast issued Saturday! 31 January 2026: Seven day outlook for Sydney
Roy rang and said are you away? or sick or what? Where’s the forecast??? Al asked too!
Ha TG forgot because like most people, he’s been trying to figure out from day to day, or parts of a day, where it’s semi safe just to put your hoof in the water… Or more to the point for some, your kids’, or your grandkids’ at the tail end of school holidays!!
Beach A is closed today, due to positive shark sighting …
Beach B is open for now, but it turns out to be closed the next day…
Or conditions are being closely monitored at A B C D etc…to decide whether to close or not.
Right now, today, the water is clearer, and as it’s the weekend, there’s a bit more of a chance of the more numerous patrolling volunteer surf lifesavers spotting any unwanted marine activity, using lookouts, IRBs, Jetskis, etc.
So.. subject to the current changable daily situation ~~~~~~~~~~~
