Ranking The Top 5 White Sox Promotions Fans Can’t Miss In 2026

Even if the on-field results have fallen short, one thing the White Sox continue to get right is their promotions.

Coming off three straight 100-loss seasons, it’s easy to see why the team has to find creative ways to get fans in the seats, and for the second year in a row, the club’s marketing department delivered with a standout slate of promotions that gives fans plenty of reasons to show up, regardless of the standings.

On Friday, the White Sox unveiled their promotional giveaway schedule for the upcoming season, and it’s loaded with marquee attractions. Highlights include bobblehead nights for Miguel Vargas, Chase Meidroth, Colson Montgomery, Kyle Teel, and Edgar Quero, a postgame home run derby featuring White Sox alumni, four different heritage nights, and a strong lineup of hoodie and T-shirt giveaways.

With that, here are the top five promotional giveaways that were announced for the 2026 season:

With that in mind, here are the top five promotional giveaways announced for the 2026 season:

5. City Connect Warmups

The White Sox turned heads last season when they unveiled a new City Connect jersey inspired by the Chicago Bulls’ iconic color scheme.

The design marked the first collaboration between an NBA and MLB team on a jersey—a natural crossover given Jerry Reinsdorf owns both franchises. While both teams have struggled on the field and court, there’s no denying the color scheme remains one of the most striking in sports.

On July 25, the first 15,000 fans at Rate Field will receive a City Connect warmup jacket inspired by classic Bulls warmups from the 1980s and 1990s. The jacket features a black collar with “Chicago” written vertically down one side, along with a small basketball court graphic that blends into a baseball diamond with “CHI” in the center.

On the back, the jacket showcases the new City Connect winged-sock logo with “White Sox” printed above it in black lettering.

The warmup is stylish—and a unique way for fans to rep both mediocre Reinsdorf-owned franchises in one look.

4. Mexican Heritage Night Jersey

On July 10, the first 15,000 fans through the gates will receive a White Sox Mexican Heritage jersey when the South Siders host the Houston Astros, with a postgame fireworks show rounding out the celebration.

While the White Sox have handed out soccer-style jerseys in the past, this year’s version takes a different, and arguably better, approach, opting for a traditional baseball jersey design.

The bold colorway immediately stands out, highlighted by a vibrant pink pattern across the front, “Los White Sox” scripted across the chest, and a Mexican flag patch on the sleeve. On the back, the jersey features the number one with “Familia” on the nameplate, a finishing touch that brings the entire design together.

3. Kyle Teel and Edgar Quero Bobblehead

For the first time in their MLB careers, Kyle Teel and Edgar Quero will be featured on a bobblehead when the White Sox take on the Tigers on May 30th.

Unlike Colson Montgomery, Miguel Vargas and Chase Meidroth—who will each receive individual bobbleheads—Teel and Quero will share the same design, making it a unique collectible.

Both catchers entered last season ranked among the top prospects in the White Sox organization and made strong impressions after reaching the majors.

Teel slashed .273/.375/.411 across 78 games, adding eight home runs, 35 RBIs and five stolen bases. He also put together a 20-game on-base streak, the longest by a White Sox rookie since José Abreu.

Quero, meanwhile, led Major League Baseball with five catcher pickoffs last season and showcased his switch-hitting ability, batting .268 with five home runs.

The bobblehead design features Teel in a crouched receiving position wearing the White Sox City Connect uniform, while Quero is depicted in a throwing motion in the club’s classic pinstripes.

It’s a fitting and fun way to celebrate the White Sox’s exciting young catching tandem.

2. Bobby Jenks and AJ Pierzynski Celebration Bobblehead

One of the most iconic images in White Sox history is A.J. Pierzynski leaping into Bobby Jenks’ arms after the final out of the 2005 World Series, sealing the franchise’s first championship in 88 years.

That unforgettable moment is already immortalized in statue form outside Rate Field—and now it will be commemorated again. On April 5, the first 10,000 fans through the gates will receive a bobblehead recreating the celebration as the White Sox host the defending American League champion Toronto Blue Jays.

The giveaway carries added significance following Jenks’ passing from cancer last season. Jenks was a cornerstone of the 2005 title run, recording two saves in the World Series and slamming the door on a championship season. He later became a two-time All-Star and finished his White Sox career with 173 saves, cementing his place as one of the most dominant closers in franchise history.

Together, Jenks and Pieraynski embodied the toughness and edge of a team that remains the gold standard in White Sox history.

1. 90s City Connect Jacket

One of the most eye-catching promotions of the season will take place on April 25, when the White Sox host the Washington Nationals. The first 15,000 fans 21 and older will receive a 1990s-style City Connect jacket—a throwback that combines retro flair with modern team branding.

The jacket is predominantly black, featuring a bold red-and-white “V” stripe pattern that runs from the sleeves down to the base. Above the stripes sits the White Sox City Connect logo, with two socks reading “South Side” and the winged sock emblem on the right chest. A horizontal red stripe across the front spells out “Chicago White Sox,” while the back includes a stylized hoodie graphic over a baseball diamond with “CHI” in the center.

Adding to the adult-oriented appeal, the right sleeve bears a Miller Lite logo, which is why the giveaway is limited to fans 21 and up. The jacket is not only a stylish collectible but also a perfect way for fans to celebrate the South Side while paying homage to 1990s baseball fashion.
