Fans of the show might be curious to know whether the 37-year-old actor is with someone off-screen, given his steamy on-screen chemistry with Yerin Ha‘s Sophie Baek.

Despite their chemistry, Luke and Yerin are not together.

But, the Bridgerton connection isn’t that far off!

He’s rumored to be dating Philippa Featherington actress Harriet Cains.

All the way back in June of 2024, The Daily Mail reported that the two were an item. Neither of them have confirmed or deny the reports to this day.

They’re clearly fans of each other: back in 2021, she posted an Instagram of him surrounded by pink heart emojis, writing “my favourite Luke soz @lukenewtonuk.”

Luke is notoriously private about his personal life, and doesn’t have social media, making it even harder to deduce if the report has any truth to it.

Since that report two years ago, there have been conflicting reports about their current status, with some saying that they’ve since split, and others refuting the report, suggesting they’ve only been just friends. Some fans have also pointed to their affectionate body language at the the 2024 BAFTAs as evidence of something more. We’ll have to see if they ever address the rumors!
