Jennifer Aniston’s Boyfriend Jim Curtis Lists His NYC Apartment After Financial Red Flags Emerge

As Jennifer Aniston’s romance with Jim Curtis continues to unfold, his newly listed New York City apartment is raising some uncomfortable financial questions.

His South Street Seaport area home is on the market for $1.5 million, per the Daily Mail. While that might not seem like major news, the outlet revealed that Curtis paid off a financial lien on the property to the tune of $29,538 on December 8. The financial issue had been lingering for some time after it was placed on his property in March 2024, per The U.S. Sun in July 2025.

The problems with paying the HOA fees date back even further than that, according to the outlet. Curtis first missed a payment in 2017, racking up over $15,000 in “outstanding fees.” While that lien was paid off by April 2017, the life coach found himself in financial trouble again in 2024. Now that he has the 2024 lien behind him, it’s time to get rid of the property.

The 1,200-square-foot condo has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and iconic views of the Brooklyn Bridge — the desirable location could make this a highly sought-after property. If the residence sells at listing price, Curtis stands to make a $250,000 profit, per the Daily Mail.

Still, there are some concerns in Aniston’s inner circle that Curtis is leveraging his association with his A-list girlfriend to his benefit.

“Jim’s sweet but savvy,” the source told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack in October 2025. “He knows being with Jennifer turns him from unknown therapist to self-help superstar.”

Curtis has seen his social media following jump since he began romancing the Friends star, and he earned a coveted slot on Today on January 26 to promote his September 2026 publication, The Book of Possibility — and of course, he was asked about Aniston.

‘We were just introduced by friends. That’s it. We found out that we had mutual friends, and we started to just chat. We chatted for a long time, and we became close,” Curtis shared of their romantic beginnings while revealing that they have been together “a long time, months now, almost close to a year.”
