Spain pushes for first female UN chief since organisation's foundation
The campaign to replace UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres is underway, and in Madrid some 100 female politicians gathered calling for the UN to pick a woman to succeed him. Since its creation in 1946, the UN has never had a woman at its head, and never even been considered. For the participants, as long as women do not take part in decisions taking place at the top level, some of the biggest challenges facing women will not be met globally. FRANCE 24's Sarah Morris tells us more from Madrid.
