Candace Owens Leaks Audio, Alleges It's Erika Kirk Talking About Merch Sales & Laughing After Charlie Kirk's Death
A leaked audio recording, allegedly said to be from Erika Kirk after the death of her husband Charlie Kirk, made its way onto the Internet because of right wing commentator Candace Owens.
Before playing the audio, Owens noted that Charlie Kirk had “not been dead for two weeks.”
In the audio, Kirk is seemingly speaking about the massive event that was held after his death, after she assumed the role as the head of Turning Point USA. Kirk was shot on September 10, 2025, and the event was held on September 21, 2025. By the way, Owens claims the audio features Erika Kirk, though this has not been independently verified.

The call starts with laughter, seemingly talking about emoji reactions on Zoom.
In the audio, the woman states: “I don’t even know where to begin. The fact that we were able to pull off an event of a century, like, it’s just insane. We had over 275,000 people that attended and stadium overflow, west gate. Insane, you guys. And then you have, was it 100 million? We had thousands that were registered to vote. I think we’re at like over 200,000 for merch sales. It keeps bumping up like crazy.”
“I just wanted to say a huge, huge, huge thank you to the events team. The development team, the graphic design team, the production team,” the woman added.
“I don’t care if any of you have beef with each other from the past or have any issues with someone said something about this or that. Like, if you guys have any of that, please put it to rest. My husband’s dead. Like, I’m not trying to be morbid, but he’s dead. And it puts life into perspective, of how short life is,” the woman continued.
Candace Owens said of the video: “It is the general tone that is off putting. It’s the laughter that is off putting. Again, we are not even two weeks after watching your husband be assassinated. We’re talking about numbers and metrics that have been hit.”
“That’s moving pretty quickly to the acceptance phase now. We know everybody grieves differently. In my imagination, I just thought she would be more upset,” Owens added.
