What are your top three goals for your pizza restaurant in the coming year?
My first goal is to help Pizza Factory franchise owners drive increased guest frequency by boosting engagement in our loyalty app and continuing to deliver exceptional offers to our loyalty members. Loyalty is strongest when guests feel appreciated, so we are focused on giving owners more tools to build lasting relationships with their customers.
Second, I want our brand to remain at the cutting edge of innovation in the pizza space. We plan to give guests opportunities to sample new and creative menu items, while continuing to offer the fan favorites that form the core of our brand. This balance is what allows franchisees to keep their communities excited and engaged while maintaining the comfort and familiarity that originally drew them to Pizza Factory.
Finally, I’m committed to helping our franchisees continue finding ways to give back beyond our menu offerings. We are always exploring team sponsorships, school programs, and other methods of involvement to ensure our locations continue to be deeply ingrained in the communities they serve. We’re excited for the year ahead to be a year of genuine connection and community support for our franchisees.
How do you plan to stay competitive in a crowded market?
Pizza Factory stays competitive by staying true to our core values and maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency across our restaurants. Guests choose us because they know they can rely on our fresh, handmade pizza, a tradition we’ve upheld for 40 years. While we continue to look at ways to optimize our business, customer experience will always come first, because our guests are what set our brand apart.
At the heart of that customer experience is connection. We know that dining is about more than transactional interactions, and we pride ourselves on treating our guests like family and creating warm, inviting spaces where they can gather and connect with each other.
What’s one skill or area of knowledge you’d like to improve as a business owner in 2026?
As a leader, I’d like to continue learning about how AI is shaping the pizza industry and keep finding ways to leverage it to strengthen our business. There’s a lot of opportunity for what technology can do for Pizza Factory, and I’m looking forward to leveraging that. At the same time, I recognize that technology can never replicate the human-nature of customer interaction, so I’m committed to using it to enhance the relationships at the heart of our brand, not to
replace them.
