Ms. Shirley Dead - Shirley Raines, Beauty 2 The Streetz Founder & Influencer, Dies at 58
Shirley Raines, otherwise known as Ms. Shirley on social media, has sadly passed away at the age of 58.
The founder and CEO of Beauty 2 The Streetz, a non-profit “on a mission to provide self-worth restoring services like hair, makeup, hygiene, and food to those who need it most,” per their official site, died on Tuesday night (January 27), according to her sister Sheila.
“It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that Beauty 2 The Streetz announces the passing of our beloved CEO and founder, Shirley Raines, affectionately known to so many as Ms. Shirley,” the organization announced.
“Ms. Shirley dedicated her life to serving others and made an immeasurable impact on homeless communities throughout Los Angeles and Nevada. Through her tireless advocacy, deep compassion, and unwavering commitment, she used her powerful media platform to amplify the voices of those in need and to bring dignity, resources, and hope to some of the most underserved populations.”

Her sister told TMZ she was found dead in her home in Henderson, Nevada during a wellness check. Sheila said her sister was healthy, and was not on any medication, and the family is shocked and awaiting autopsy results. No foul play is suspected at this time.
Ms. Shirley grew to fame on social media platforms like TikTok for her livestream videos handing out supplies to unhoused people. She was named CNN’s 2021 Hero of the Year, and the NAACP Image Award winner for Outstanding Social Media Personality in 2025.
