Can I do 2,000 push ups?

I’m taking part in The Push Up Challenge. This means I have to do 2,000 push ups from 5 to 27 February. I’m doing it for two reasons.
- I’ve never done that many push ups. I sometimes at the gym may do three sets of 10. Doing 2,000 over 23 days will be a real challenge for me, but hopefully one which I can achieve and improve my fitness and strength.
- It is rising funds for the Mental Health Foundation. This is a cause I am passionate about – not just because at times I have had poor mental health, but because I have realised over time how many of my amazing friends also have significant mental health challenges. What we share on Facebook tends to be the good times, not the hard times.
If you are willing to donate for my challenge, that would be amazing. You’ll also get to see updates from me as to how I am going toward the 2,000 goal. Anyone who wants to also do the challenge can easily enrol – we can even set up a team.
