i-dle is back with a new track, called “Mono”!
The K-pop girl group, previously known as (G)-Idle, released their new song, which features British rapper and producer Skaiwater, on Tuesday (January 27).
“You’re from the right or from the left / Whether East or West / Whether straight or gay / Every day and night / Dance to your real vibe / Turn the effects down / Let it all fade out, play the whole world in Mono,” they sing.

“This song carries the message of stripping away all the effects and focusing on the essence. I hope everyone listens closely to the addictive melody and the great lyrics,” member MINNIE explained of the meaning.
“It’s a track that’s minimal yet still carries i-dle’s distinct color. I think it would be great to focus on the styling and the unique vocal characters that only i-dle can pull off. The lyrics are also incredibly charming,” member Soyeon added.
Shuhua said: “This song isn’t complex, so it’ll be exactly what you feel. I believe it’s a track that can fully convey its message to your heart, even without needing a lot of words to explain it.”
