Mixed reports on Man Utd’s Zirkzee stance as Juventus look for new striker
There are mixed reports on Manchester United’s transfer stance on Juventus target Joshua Zirkzee, with Gazzetta dello Sport claiming that the Red Devils are open to discussing an initial loan with an option to buy.
Juventus are looking for a new centre-forward after Youssef En-Nesyri rejected the chance to move to Turin on loan with an option to buy from Fenerbahce.
Juventus looking for new striker
Juventus have resumed their search for a new centre-forward and will open talks with Tottenham and PSG for Kolo Muani’s return to the Allianz Stadium.
According to Gazzetta and Sky Sport Italia, Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee remains on the Bianconeri’s agenda too.
What future for Zirkzee at Man United?
The Pink Paper even claims that the Red Devils are now open to discussing a loan deal with an option to buy, which they were reluctant to do in the first half of January, with some of their players away for AFCON and the appointment of Michael Carrick as their new coach.
Zirkzee was omitted from the Manchester United squad for games against Manchester City and Arsenal.
Sky, however, adds that Juventus are still waiting on a final decision from Old Trafford as Manchester United are still unsure over Zirkzee’s loan exit.
