Galatasaray vice president arrives in London to hold talks over Tottenham transfer
Galatasaray have taken a big step in their effort to complete a deal for a Tottenham Hotspur man before the window slams shut.
Despite Thomas Frank insisting that there will be no more players leaving Spurs this window, the media has continued to play up the possibility of several late exits from N17.
Radu Dragusin continues to be heavily linked with a switch to Serie A, with AC Milan now joining AS Roma in the race for the centre-back.
Antonin Kinsky is said to be edging closer to a loan move to West Ham, and now another Spurs man is being heavily linked with a departure from Hotspur Way.
Champions League club stepping up efforts to sign Tottenham midfielder
It is now being reported by Fotospor that Galatasaray are now making efforts to secure a deal for Yves Bissouma, who has just six months left on his contract at Spurs.
Galatasaray’s vice president, Abdullah Kavukcu, reportedly arrived in England on Tuesday to hold transfer talks with Spurs regarding Bissouma.
Kavukcu has been accompanied by Italian agent George Gardi, who worked as an intermediary in the Turkish club’s deals to sign Mauro Icardi and Victor Osimhen.
Bissouma’s standing at Spurs has changed over recent weeks
The former Brighton man has forced himself back into contention at Tottenham since returning from the African Cup of Nations.
Bissouma made his first appearance as a substitute in Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat to West Ham before making his first start of the season for the Lilywhites in their 2-2 draw against Brighton.
Thomas Frank has said that Bissouma brings a lot of qualities to the Spurs midfield, adding that the 29-year-old has a high ceiling.
