Former French senator found guilty of drugging lawmaker to assault her
A former French senator has been found guilty of spiking a lawmaker's drink, with the intent to sexually assault her. He has received a four year sentence, eighteen months of which are guaranteed to be served behind bars. Joël Guerriau says he plans to appeal the verdict, he claims the drugging was an accident. Since the incident, Sandrine Josso has become a campaigner against the crime dubbed "chemical submission".
