Champions League: Napoli vs. Chelsea – probable line-ups and where to watch on TV
Napoli’s injury crisis continues, so Antonio Conte has no chance to rotate in a crucial Champions League match against Chelsea.
It kicks off at 21:00 CET (20:00 GMT) at the Stadio Maradona.
The Partenopei are currently out of the top 24, so they need a win to qualify for the knockout play-off. However, they still have several injured players, so Conte has no chance to rotate following Sunday’s 3-0 loss against Juventus.
The likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Billy Gilmour, Frank Zambo Anguissa, Matteo Politano, Amir Rrahmani, David Neres and Vanja Milinkovic-Savic are injured. Luca Marianucci, Giovane and Pasquale Mazzocchi are not part of Napoli’s UEFA list.
According to Gazzetta and Corriere dello Sport, Leonardo Spinazzola is favourite over Miguel Gutierrez, but the Italian will start out of position as a right midfielder with Mathias Olivera on the opposite flank.
Rasmus Hojlund will lead the Partenopei’s attack, supported by attacking midfielders Antonio Vergara and Eljif Elmas.
Napoli vs. Chelsea – where to watch on TV
The match will be broadcast live on TNT Sports 4 in the UK and Ireland and on Paramount+ in the USA. Football Italia will provide live updates for all of tonight’s Champions League matches, including this fixture, Monaco-Juve, Borussia Dortmund-Inter and Atalanta-Union Saint Gilloise.
