Liberals in Media Are Justifying and Defending Leftists Bringing Guns to Anti-ICE Protests (VIDEO)
People in the liberal media are now actively justifying and defending the idea of leftists bringing guns to anti-ICE protests.
Do you recall how the same media covered the Tea Party movement in the 2010s? Back then, every report about the Tea Party ominously warned that the movement could potentially become violent, which it never did.
Now the left is playing with fire on a regular basis and the media is making excuses for them.
Here are two recent examples.
First up is Trevor Ault of ABC News. In the clip below, transcribed by Curtis Houck, he says:
“I mean, anger is the absolutely main emotion that we are seeing, George. They feel like they have a right to continue pushing back and they feel like it has been working, but they’re especially upset because they feel like ICE has been everywhere. When I got to town, my team who had already been here said don’t rent a dark SUV. People will assume you are a federal agent b/c they’re all over the place and people will not be happy. You, of course, also, have immigrant communities.
They are very afraid. There are people who have not left their homes in weeks. And maybe, George, the most dominant emotion is dread. As long as the raids continue, the protests continue and another shooting could happen at any moment and especially after Alex Pretti shooting, more demonstrators could bring weapons under the belief they have to be prepared to defend themselves from federal agents who could shoot them. It is a very dangerous recipe. People are scared, but they’re also resolute that they have to fight back.”

In another example, Kasie Hunt of CNN. Transcript by Nicholas Fondacaro:
“I want to bring back a tweet from Charlie Kirk in 2018. He says this, ‘The Second Amendment is not for hunting. It’s not for self protection. It is there to ensure that free people can defend themselves if, God forbid, government became tyrannical and turned against its citizens.’ And I think a lot of people are pointing to this because, I mean, what what we saw in the streets.”

These same networks would be losing their minds if the parties involved were different. We know this because we remember how they covered the Tea Party. They are liars and propagandists, plain and simple.
