The Tyranny Apologists

There’s always been a wide chasm between what Americans typically think they are and who they really have been over the years. Terms like rugged individualism are advertised while the underlying toil done by the enslaved, by women with no agency…….the almost eradication of the native population—well, it’s actively avoided because the narrative does not fit.

We’ve been surrounded by individuals who have proclaimed through the years that they have to stand tall against government overreach. They have stated that they need multiple guns to protect against tyranny. They feel a few school shootings are needed to protect that holy amendment.

They sit in churches proclaiming the words of Jesus, but conveniently ignore the message from any tales that espouse kindness and empathy. They don’t recall any tables being turned over. Goodness, that sounds like property damage and we don’t like that.

When taken as a whole, this superficial persona they have cultivated has absolutely no substance underneath. A shiny exterior with a core of purulent rot.

They are the ones who sit in their favorite Mexican restaurant and dine while they overlook the toil of the immigrants. They rejoice in the cruelty when they find out the cooks are in hiding and their children can’t go to school (other than being pissed they can’t get their favorite combo plate).

They see that an 11-year-old Hispanic child has committed suicide after fellow classmates threaten “to call ICE on her” and they come up with some nonsense that it’s a shame, but the parents shouldn’t have come here illegally. These same people read The Diary of Anne Frank in school and maybe even cried. How one line can’t be connected to the other is unfathomable.

When notified that many playing by all the rules are being rounded up as they try to go to the immigration offices for scheduled appointments, they mumble that it’s going to be a messy process, that these things will unfortunately happen. This clearly shows it’s not a “law and order” thing for them, whether they will admit it or not.

When confronted with the fact that most likely their own relatives slid into the nation under shady circumstances and leaky immigration boats, they ignore that fact because the stories of their leaving problematic situations in Europe is that of brave migration. It’s a terrible thing to remember when the Italians, when the Irish were told they need not apply. Now their descendants thrust down that same belligerence on others.

When told that all white people who showed up on old Turtle Island were displacing the native population (and causing them great illness due to nasty European hygienic practices over the years –zoonotic viruses and such), they simply do not care. To the extent, I think they put their hands on their ears and go “lalalala I can’t hear you”.

It’s a brave origin story when it’s me and mine, but if it’s you and yours—it’s all about you being a lawbreaking other. The powers that be say to hate this group, and for these people—that’s all it takes.

It’s clear that our current leaders read books by their favorite Nazi and realized that they needed a scapegoat to get the fascism ball rolling. Not that it wasn’t rolling before, but they decided it was time to completely eradicate the vestiges of popular vote and any ability to continue expanding civil rights. They decided it was time to halt any progress and much of this directive came from their insulated tech-bro backers who have made it clear they want a dictatorship. They simply don’t care about us and likely prefer we die. They only want enough of us left to continue to serve them, but with their AI dreams, they don’t think they will need very many.

These obscenely wealthy individuals know they have a significant portion of the population who have no internal consistency and simply want to align with who they perceive to be their authoritarian daddy. They are the ones who watch a movie like Star Wars in their youth and re-watch it as adults and feel they would be on the side of the “rebels”. In reality they would be making excuses for the Sith wiping out the Jedi daycare and trying to figure out how to get to Darth Vader’s penis to give him a blow job, assuming it wasn’t too burnt up in the lava. They use these fools for their own purposes, mining their stupidity like an ore.

One of the easiest ways to manipulate them is with religion, but they sure don’t seem to understand the bit about Sodom and Gomorrah. It was due to the hideous treatment of those passing through, the angels they sexually assaulted, that hellfire was received. They treated the “other” with hatred, oppression and arrogance and it went very badly. Even removing the Judeo-Christian angle to this story, I have to think it is a pretty good and vibrantly told tale of hubris and violent inhospitality becoming your downfall.

This makes me think of the mom in federal custody who was serially raped. Her rapist federal agent dangled in front of her to the ability to see her child as the means to continue raping her. I’m no biblical scholar (thank god) but I would say that’s behavior that should turn him to salt–but then again, he’s already a piece of shit, so salt would be an improvement.

But back to the precious second amendment…….so they should now realize that specific protection is basically nonsense. When the government dislikes your views, the mere ownership of a gun will permit (in their eyes) governmental execution. Even when confronted with an incongruity the size of Everest, they side with the tyrannical government.

I suppose they are more worried about the flag snake getting tread upon instead of concern for actual kind citizens being slaughtered.

It’s also not okay to get slightly confused when having multiple orders screamed at you while driving. For this you can also get executed, especially if you say something incendiary like “I’m not mad at you ,bro.” Their Facebook laughing reactions to others’ misery won’t stop the bullets coming their way from violent Proud Boys with federal paychecks if they make a misstep in the future. I can hear them yelling now……but I’m WHITE, I’m MAGA, I am with you…………as they bleed out.

These truly terrible people are the “authority figures” that have always let down those in need. They are the mothers who stay with a wealthy 3^rd husband who molests the kids even when presented with pleas from the children. They are the priest who simply moves the sexual offender down the road even knowing they doom more children to rape. They are the gymnastics coach who knows a doctor is sexually assaulting young girls but doesn’t do a damn thing about it. We have had the scourge of these people since the advent of hierarchy and their ability to commandeer places of unearned authority. It’s time to completely shut off listening to their amoral gibberish and know that trust and allegiance are earned, not in place due to a title.

It’s not shocking that this bizarro world situation exists in a timeline that allows someone like Donald Trump to market himself as a successful businessman. He is in fact, a successful con-artist, probably the most successful the world has ever known. When he came down that escalator—well, the fact that it was met with any measure of seriousness shows how open to misdirection many of these people are.

We need to look to ourselves for the truth. We know what we see. Just like we knew when the first video carnage from Gaza emerged. We do not need to tolerate the lies, even from the Democrats who are not allies. The ones who vote for all of this while they shake their heads in dismay but proceed to do it anyway. Those people are husks of superficial morality as well. In many ways, their treasonous behavior is almost more heartbreaking than the clearly evil, because they give people false hope. “I would help you, if I didn’t have the medical condition of no spine.”

As I write this, goons roam the streets, masked and amoral. They clap after a kill, they say “Boo-hoo” when they find out the person they shot has died. They call a murdered woman a “fucking bitch”. They discuss how fun it all is, and how it’s “like Call of Duty”. All of this has been recorded; it’s not hyperbole. And we have individuals who actively do the mental gymnastics needed to decide these are the good guys.

They can even be presented with evidence that none of this is even about immigration (as in, we will stop the assault on your city if you give us voter records). Still…..they believe in the tyrants. They are the Good Germans. But even the Good Germans weren’t presented with actual video to watch in the convenience of their own hands. These people take willful ignorance to a spectacular level.

At some point we will have to realize that if all of this has not penetrated them, then nothing probably will. Individuals confronted with malignant narcissists have to often go no contact because there is simply no working with that mentality. It’s hard to go no contact when they have a tyrannical police state in place, however.

I often bring up this poem and these specific lines (probably too often, but I can’t help but marvel at how it so clearly fits our time, despite being penned in 1819).

What we do with the meaning of these words will be decided soon, most likely within weeks for the time is at hand:
