'Forever 13' Lyrics: 15-Year-Old Khloe Grace Auditions for 'American Idol' with Original Song About Young Suicide Victim
Khloe Grace had the final audition of the night during the American Idol season premiere and it was definitely the most emotional moment of the episode.
The 15-year-old contestant performed an original song she wrote called “Forever 13,” which is about real-life bullying victim Aubreigh Wyatt who died by suicide at the age of 13.
Aubreigh‘s mother Heather had never met Khloe before, but showed up to the audition to be in the room with her.

Aubreigh died on September 4, 2023 when she was in the eighth grade at a middle school in Mississippi. Her obituary stated, “Aubreigh was a straight-A student, an amazing daughter, sister, and friend. She loved the beach, her friends, gymnastics, riding four-wheelers, and making TikToks. Aubreigh was well known and loved in the community, especially for her outgoing and bubbly personality.”
In a Facebook post, Khloe wrote, “Her story really touched me and I hope this song helps others facing the same thing Aubreigh did.”
