'RHONY' OG Alex McCord Confirmed to Appear On 'Real Housewives Ultimate Road trip'

Alex McCord is returning to the Real Housewives franchise!!

The former Real Housewives of New York City star, who was an OG on the first four seasons, has been confirmed to be making an appearance on the upcoming Real Housewives Ultimate Road Trip special series, according to Andy Cohen.

During Monday’s (January 26) episode of his SiriusXM radio show Andy Cohen Live, Andy revealed that Alex will be taking part in his radio show and on Ultimate Road Trip!

“On Thursday’s episode of Andy Cohen Live, we’ve got Alex McCord in the studio. She’s coming in for Ultimate Girls Trip, so one of the OGs from New York,” he shared. “So, I’m excited to talk to her. I haven’t talked to her publicly in a very long time. She and I email probably once a year, we email. Something like that.”

Andy also teased how filming has been going on where the main cast has already visited!

“We’ve been filming, as you guys have seen online, Ultimate Girls Trip. It’s kind of, we’re celebrating 20 years of the Housewives. They’ve already been to Orange County. They have been to Beverly Hills. They were in Atlanta over the weekend. They’re now in Miami,” Andy dished. “They have one more stop after that and I have to say, the production team is doing a yeoman’s job because they were fighting the ice storm in Atlanta, and then we had to think of an unconventional way to get them to Miami, but we got them there.”

“I give it up to the women because they’re troopers. The main cast of that show, they are absolutely troopers. There you go. I’m very excited about this show. It’s not going to be on until later this year, but boy, oh, boy, is this gonna be great,” he added.

The upcoming show will see “a group of beloved Housewives from across the years embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, making their way through some of the most memorable locations in the franchise’s history.” The special event series will celebrate 20 years of Real Housewives.
