Fall/Winter League Roundup: Santurce completes championship season

Roberto Clemente Professional Baseball League (Puerto Rico)
Santurce wrapped up their championship season in six games against Ponce, as they won their final game of the year by a score of 5-1. Juan Montero did not get into any games during this series for Ponce. He got into eight games this winter overall and went 2 for 11 with a double and a pair of walks. Left-hander Eduardo Rivera (pictured) contributed to Santurce's title run by pitching in two games in the championship series. He had a very productive winter, tossing 15 innings with a 3.00 ERA, a 0.87 WHIP, 19 strikeouts, and just four walks.

Dominican Professional Baseball League (LIDOM)
Toros del Este trails Leones del Escogido two games to one in the championship series. Allan Castro, who was having a solid year for Este, has not seen any action in the series. In 13 games this winter, Castro is hitting .262/.295/.429 with four doubles and a home run.
