Fairfax restaurant says goodbye with Mardi Gras party
The second annual Fairfax Mardi Gras Party on Tuesday is a fundraiser for the Hummingbird, which is closing after 15 years of serving New Orleans-style comfort food in Fairfax. The event begins at 7 p.m. at the Hummingbird at 57 Broadway in Fairfax and continues with live music from Smokers World at Peri’s Tavern at 29 Broadway in Fairfax.
