Valentine’s Day 2026: Dining, dancing and more at Temecula Valley wineries

Valentine’s Day is so big in Temecula Valley Wine Country that it calls February the “month of romance.”

There are nearly 50 wineries in the rolling hills of southwest Riverside County, many with hotels and restaurants that will be set up to serve multi-course dinners with filet mignon, salmon and chocolate desserts. Several will have dining, dancing and musicians as well. Some events are already selling out.

Valentine’s Day falls on Saturday, Feb. 14, this year, when most of the festivities will take place. But some wineries are spreading out their celebrations.

Galentine’s Day is coming into its own with events that include shopping and dressing up. Feb. 13 is the traditional day for female bonding, but in wine country events can be found throughout the first half of the month.

Here are some events that wineries have announced on their websites or in social media. Prices included here are usually per person and don’t include taxes, fees or tips. Most wineries offer memberships, and club members can often get discounts.

Some but not all websites list full Valentine’s Day menus.

Akash Winery: A couples pizza-making class will take place at noon on Feb. 14. “The event includes a sparkling wine and antipasti welcome, chocolate truffles and a take-home kit. The cost is $180 per couple. “50 First Dates” will screen on the patio with pizza and wine at 6 p.m. Space is limited. Book in advance and bring a blanket. Altisma Winery: A Galentine’s Girl Dinner will take place at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 12 in Gaspar’s Restaurant. It costs $65 plus tax and 20% gratuity. Bella Vista Winery: There will be a three-course dinner with piano music in the winery’s Cilurzu speakeasy at 6 p.m. Feb. 13. Entrees are filet mignon or Atlantic salmon with crusted blue crab. The cost is $170 per couple. 41220 Calle Contento, Temecula. bellavistawinery.com

Falkner Winery: The Pinnacle Restaurant will be serving a Valentine’s dinner with filet mignon or salmon Wellington 5:30-9 p.m. Feb. 13-14. It costs $159 per person. There’s also lunch for two at $79. 40620 Calle Contento, Temecula. 951-676-8231. falknerwinery.com

Frangipani Estate Winery: A Valentine’s dinner with grilled steak or salmon will take place at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 13-14. The cost is $79 per person. Reservations are required by Feb. 7. 9750 De Portola Road, Temecula. frangipanievents.com

Leoness Cellars: “Love in the Barrel Room” is a members-only party with a charcuterie station and dancing 6-9 p.m. Feb. 13; tickets are $65 per couple. “Love in the Restaurant” is a Valentine’s dinner 5-9 p.m. Feb. 14. Miramonte Winery: “An Intimate Affair,” a four-course dinner beginning with a champagne reception, will take place 6-9 p.m. on Feb. 12. Entrees include petite filet mignon and coq au vin. The price is $175 per person. Oak Mountain Winery: Celebrating starts on Feb. 6 with Valentine’s Movie Night, 5:30 p.m., followed by Palentine’s Day with discount wine and beer, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Feb. 11, and a Pawlentine’s Pawty, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Feb. 12. “A Toast to Love Weekend” begins at 8 p.m. Feb. 18 with standup by Richard Villa. South Coast Winery Resort & Spa: The resort will turn its tasting room over to a Galentine’s dance with a DJ, 4-8 p.m. Feb. 13. Couples will take to the tasting room floor 4-8 p.m. Feb. 14. There will be a prix fixe dinner in the Vineyard Rose Restaurant 5:30-9 p.m. Entrées will include filet mignon and roasted halibut.
