Patriots Uniforms For Super Bowl Given Update
The New England Patriots looked iconic in their all-white uniforms during the snow game in Denver in Sunday’s AFC Championship.
And the latest intel from ESPN’s Mike Reiss suggests that the Pats might be rocking these same uniforms during Super Bowl LX, although nothing is official yet.
Patriots have reached 11 Super Bowls in franchise history, with their last appearance coming in Super Bowl LIII after the 2018 season.
The uniforms worn in these games include a mix of colors. In Super Bowl XX, the Patriots took the field in red jerseys and fell to the Chicago Bears. Super Bowl XXXI saw them in white jerseys during a loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Their first championship arrived in Super Bowl XXXVI with blue jerseys over the St. Louis Rams. Blue jerseys again delivered a win in Super Bowl XXXVIII against the Carolina Panthers.
White jerseys marked the victory in Super Bowl XXXIX versus the Philadelphia Eagles. The team returned to blue jerseys for defeats in Super Bowls XLII and XLVI, both against the New York Giants.
White jerseys became the choice starting in Super Bowl XLIX, bringing a win over the Seahawks, followed by a triumph in Super Bowl LI against the Atlanta Falcons. White jerseys continued in Super Bowl LII (a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles) and Super Bowl LIII (a win over the Los Angeles Rams).
