‘AMAZING JOB!’ Trump celebrates recovery of remains of last Oct. 7 hostage
The remains of the final Israeli hostage held in Gaza has now been recovered by Israel, more than two years after the brutal Oct. 7, 2023, attack by Hamas terrorists against the Jewish state.
“Just recovered the last Hostage body in GAZA,” said U.S. President Donald Trump on Truth Social.
“Thus, got back ALL 20 of the living Hostages, and ALL of the Dead! AMAZING JOB! Most thought of it as an impossible thing to do. Congratulations to my great team of Champions!!!”
Recovered was the body of 24-year-old Ran Gvili, who served in Israel’s Police Special Forces and was among the 1,200 killed during the onslaught by the Islamic terrorists

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Gvili’s recovery an “extraordinary achievement.”
“We promised – and I promised – to bring everyone back. We brought them all back, down to the very last captive,” Netanyahu said. “It is a tremendous achievement for the Israel Defense Forces, for the State of Israel, and also for the citizens of Israel.”
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee celebrated the recovery, saying: “One of the most wonderful bits of news in a long time! ALL hostages home!”
