‘TERRORISTIC THREATS’: Librarian arrested for allegedly recruiting killers to assassinate President Trump
A West Virginia librarian is behind bars for allegedly seeking to recruit assassins “to pursue and assassinate” President Donald Trump.
Jackson County Sheriff RH Mellinger announced Sunday evening on Facebook: “Following a detailed evening investigation by deputies and the Jackson County Bureua of Investigations, Morgan L. Morrow, age 39 of Ripley, has been detained, arrested, and transported to SCRJ following a social media recruitment of individuals to pursue and assassinate President Trump.”
“Morrow is charged with one count of TERRORISTIC THREATS,” the sheriff said, adding further details would be released as facts are compiled.
“This is not meant to be a political-oriented statement,” said Mellinger. “This is an active criminal investigation with documented and troubling concerns.”
Morrow, who has been employed at the Jackson County Public Library, is currently held in the South Central Regional Jail with no bail set at this time.
