Maren Morris Teases Possible Music Collab With Ex Ryan Hurd 2 Years After Finalizing Divorce

Maren Morris and ex-husband Ryan Hurd seem to be working on new music together!

The 35-year-old singer shared a photo of her 39-year-old musician ex on her Instagram story ahead of the weekend inside a home studio.

“we back,” she wrote in the corner of the pic, which you can see on E! News.

This wouldn’t mark the first time they’ve made music together. The former couple actually met back in 2013 while making music, when they were writing Tim McGraw‘s “Last Turn Home.” She also joined Ryan on his song “Chasing After You” for a duet, which released in 2021.

While Maren and Ryan finalized their divorce in early 2024, they remain on good terms, and are co-parents to their nearly six-year-old son Hayes.

Last year, Maren told Chelsea Handler, “I’m lucky that we love each other so much still. We have the highest respect, but also there is that devastation that two people [who] love each other that much can’t make it work in the real world. It’s always going to be multifaceted.”
