Insiders Claim David & Victoria Beckham Fear Brooklyn’s Future Is in the Peltzes’ Hands: He’d Get ‘Absolutely Nothing’
Brooklyn Beckham could reportedly walk away with “absolutely nothing” if his marriage to Nicola Peltz ended — and insiders claim that fear is exactly what has David and Victoria Beckham “devastated, worried and concerned” right now.
According to Page Six, Brooklyn, 26, signed what one source described as an “iron-clad” prenup before his 2022 wedding that leaves him with no claim on Nicola’s assets in the event of a split, including the couple’s reportedly $16 million Beverly Hills home. The property was paid for out of Nicola’s trust fund, which was set up by her father, billionaire investor Nelson Peltz, who’s estimated to be worth $1.2 billion.
“Brooklyn’s not entitled to any of Nicola’s assets,” a source told the outlet, adding that the further he drifts from his own family, the more vulnerable he could be if the relationship ever ended. “At this point, the Peltzes are running things,” the source alleged, describing David and Victoria as “devastated, worried and concerned for their son, brother and grandson.”
The report lands days after Brooklyn posted a six-page Instagram statement on Jan. 19, saying he does “not want to reconcile” with his parents and accusing them of “endless attacks” on his relationship with Nicola. In the latest Instagram rift moment, he claimed Victoria canceled Nicola’s wedding dress “at the 11th hour” and described her as dancing “very inappropriately on me in front of everyone” during the 2022 wedding.
Since then, more details from the day have resurfaced. The couple’s DJ, Fat Tony, said a planned first dance between Brooklyn and Nicola never happened after performer Marc Anthony invited Victoria onstage instead. He called the resulting mother-son dance “really awkward for everyone in the room” and said Nicola left in tears — a moment Brooklyn had already described as humiliating.
Brooklyn hasn’t limited his complaints to the wedding fallout. He’s also alleged his parents have “controlled narratives in the press” about the family for years and, ahead of his 2022 wedding, tried to “bribe” him into signing away rights to his name. Sources close to David and Victoria disputed that, saying the paperwork was tied to David’s Authentic Brands Group deal and meant to protect the Beckham name — not strip Brooklyn of it — while Page Six noted Victoria had trademarked all four of her children’s names as an IP safeguard and that Brooklyn took over his own trademark when he turned 18.
“By this time, he was already in with the Peltzes,” said another source familiar with the matter. “But Brooklyn is working commercially every day and he’s effectively been given the waiver [to use his name] anyway. Of course he’s never been sued [by Authentic Brands], which proves this is all nonsense.”
Behind the scenes, the Beckhams are reportedly still hoping for a reconciliation, even as Brooklyn publicly insists he’s done and appears firmly aligned with the Peltz side — down to his double-barreled last name and food ventures. For now, the family’s most visible communication is coming through third parties and carefully worded statements, with insiders claiming David and Victoria fear Brooklyn’s future is “in the Peltzes’ hands.”
