Keith Urban's 'Fiery Temper' Has His Daughters Allegedly Refusing to Meet His New GF After Choosing Mom Nicole Kidman's Side in Divorce

It looks like Keith Urban won’t be introducing his daughters, Sunday and Faith, to his rumored new girlfriend anytime soon.

A source told Rob Shuter’s “Naughty But Nice” Substack in a report published on January 19 that Urban’s children with his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman, have no interest in meeting his romantic partners after their parents’ divorce. “The girls are really focused on Mom right now,” the insider said. “They’re adjusting to all the changes, and it’s natural they want to protect their space.”

The source also confirmed that Keith agrees with and respects his daughters’ stance. “Keith is trying to balance his own life with his daughters’ needs,” the insider said. “He wants them to be comfortable, but the girls’ priority is their mom and their own well-being.”

The source continued, “Keith loves his girls, but he’s realizing that his happiness can’t come at the expense of theirs. It’s a delicate balance, and he’s learning that patience is key.”

It’s unclear who his reported girlfriend is at this time.

As for Urban’s daughters, a source told Shuter in October 2025 that Sunday and Faith chose Kidman in their parents’ divorce due to their father’s alleged “fiery temper.” “The girls have seen who held it all together,” the insider said. “They feel safest with Nicole.”

The source continued, “He’s heartbroken,” says a music insider. “He knows he’s losing more than a marriage — he’s losing time with his girls. Nicole has the daughters emotionally and physically. The loyalty lines are drawn — and they’re standing with Mom.”

In October 2025, country singer Alexandra Kay addressed Urban and Kidman’s divorce and denied rumors at the time that Urban was instead linked to his guitarist Maggie Baugh. “Honestly, I was heartbroken for them because the media scrutiny is insane and the things that people say… They’re like, stirring up rumors about Maggie Baugh, and I’m like, ‘She’s a good friend of mine and I know that’s absolutely not true,'” Kay told Taste of Country Nights at the time. “I’ve met her boyfriend, and she’s very happy, and she has nothing to do with that whole [Nicole and Keith] relationship.”
