‘Minnesota has had it’: New ICE shooting sparks fury as Tim Walz issues fierce demand
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz issued a fierce demand to the Trump administration after reports of “another horrific shooting by federal agents” circulated on Saturday.
“I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening,” Walz wrote in a social media post on X. “The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.”
Video of the incident spread widely on social media Saturday showing what appear to be several federal immigration officers wrestling a man to the ground in Minneapolis. One agent appears to punch the individual before a series of gunshots is heard.
Fox News reporter Bill Melugin reported the the Department of Homeland Security alleged that the man seen being wrestled to the ground by ICE agents was “armed with a gun,” though details of the incident have yet to be verified.
