Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Goes Snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef in a Stunning New Video
Oh, to be Bindi Irwin’s daughter Grace Warrior! The 4-year-old lives inside Australia Zoo and gets to go on wild adventures all the time — including a recent excursion to go snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef. She just joined her uncle Robert Irwin on a cool getaway under the sea, and we’re officially jealous of a toddler!
“A day on the Great Barrier Reef. A trip to @ladyelliotislandecoresort is always one to remember!” the Dancing with the Stars Mirrorball champion captioned a post on Instagram. He also shared a mini video vlog of the trip, which he took with his brother-in-law Chandler Powell, and his DWTS partner Witney Carson and her family.
At the beginning, Robert shows him and Grace on board a small aircraft to head over to Lady Elliot Island, where Grace gave him two huge thumbs up from her spot on the plane. The gorgeous ocean views look like something from a painting as they flew over the reef. After they landed, the family headed straight to the beach. They went on a little boat, with Grace holding onto the railing and enjoying the view of the water below. Later, she went snorkeling in a pink swimsuit with matching goggles. They saw huge turtles and beautiful coral, and it looked truly amazing!
Other highlights include eating a fresh lunch, walking along the beach, and exploring more wildlife from a golfcart. It looks like such a fabulous trip!
In a previous interview with E! News, Robert gushed about how much he loves his niece. “It’s so surreal being an uncle. It’s the most amazing thing,” he told the outlet. “It’s the best job I’ve ever had, that’s for sure. She’s just so full of energy. She’s so determined. She’s a focused and intelligent little kid…She’s the smartest member of the family.”
Aww! We love seeing their adventures together. If we can’t live in Australia, at least we can live vicariously through Grace!
