Brooklyn Beckham's Wedding DJ Describes Victoria's 'Inappropriate' Dance: 'Nicola Left The Room Crying'
One of Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding guests is speaking out about Victoria Beckham’s “inappropriate” dance with her son.
DJ Fat Tony, who performed at the couple’s welcome party, wedding reception, and post-wedding event in April 2022, appeared on British TV show This Morning on Friday, January 23, where described the mother-son dance that contributed an ongoing feud between Brooklyn, 26, and his parents, Victoria, 51, and David, 50.
“Marc Anthony was performing on stage. He then called Brooklyn on stage. Brooklyn then went on to the stage,” Tony, whose real name is Tony Marnach, said. “Everyone’s expecting it to be Nicola to go up and do the first dance.”

“Marc Anthony asked the most beautiful woman in the room to come to the stage,” Tony continued. “And then he says, ‘Victoria come to the stage.'”
“Of course, at that point, Brooklyn is suddenly literally devastated because he thought he was going to do his first dance with his wife,” Tony said. “Nicola leaves the room crying her eyes out.”
Tony went on to describe the dance between Brooklyn and Victoria, an incident which Brooklyn described in a January 19 statement as his mother dancing “very inappropriately on me in front of everyone,” leaving him “humiliated.”

“Brooklyn is stuck there on stage, and they do this dance, and Marc Anthony says ‘put your hands on your mother’s hips,'” said Tony, describing it as a Latin dance. “The whole situation was really awkward for everyone in the room.”
Tony also stated that the brunch the day after the couple’s wedding was “the most awkward part of it all,” saying that “everything that had gone on on the actual wedding night was discussed amongst all the guests.”
“When the bride and the groom leave their own wedding devastated, word trickles out,” he said.
Tony added that he has performed at many Beckham family events over the years, describing them as a “close-knit family” who love to dance together. He said that “what we deem as inappropriate” may not align with Brooklyn’s experience. “If (Brooklyn) felt it was inappropriate and awkward, it was inappropriate and awkward,” he said.
For years, there has been speculation about a rift between Brooklyn and his parents due to his relationship with Nicola, whom he started dating in 2019. “I do not want to reconcile with my family,” Brooklyn wrote in lengthy Instagram Story, confirming the rift. “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
