Paris Hilton Reveals Her Plan to Keep Kids from Sneaking Out in the Future & It’s Actually Genius
Nobody is more iconic than Paris Hilton. She was the queen of Y2K fashion, creating timeless moments at nightclubs with famous friends like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan. And she still brings that hot energy to her life today, where she is a singer, reality TV star, entrepreneur, and mom to two toddlers Phoenix, 3, and London, 2. However, even though the clubs helped raise her, she is hoping for something different when her little ones grow up. The Simple Life alum revealed that she has a genius plan for preventing her kids from sneaking out of the house in the future, and she’s already set things in motion.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, the “Stars Are Blind” singer said she thinks about the possibility of her kids following in her wild ways as teens “a lot.” “I know how it is to be a teenager,” she told the outlet. “So I do get a little worried about that. … But even at our house, it’s just such a fun place. Like, I feel like they wouldn’t want to sneak out.”
“I feel like all the kids are going to want to come here because we have the water slide and the movie theater and the tennis court and the golf. All these fun activities,” Hilton continued. It’s such a great idea! Growing up, my house was the fun hangout house too, with games and video games and walking distance to my grandma’s pool (not the same level of coolness as Hilton’s, but still), and my mom always told me she preferred us hanging out there than anywhere else. It’s a smart idea!
But more than that, she plans on being a safe space for her kids so they don’t feel the need to go behind her back.
“I will make them feel safe to be able to tell me anything, so they’ll not want to sneak out,” she shared. Yes! I want to be the same type of parent — someone they can call when they’re in trouble and talk to about things instead resorting to hiding, lying, and sneaking out.
Hilton also has a backup plan: “I have the craziest security system, with the cameras and security and all that, so if they tried to sneak out, I would know,” she added with a laugh. “And nothing would get past me because I know every trick in the book.” Love it!
Hilton recently brought her kids, who she shares with husband Carter Reum, to the premiere of her Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir in Los Angeles. The kids looked so cute in matching pink jackets, sunglasses, and white sneakers to support their mom. London accessorized hers with a pink heart-shaped bag, a pink tutu, and a baby doll clutched in her arm, while Phoenix paired his with black cargo jeans.
“I am loving being in my mom era. It’s my favorite era yet,” Hilton previously told SheKnows. “I just feel like my life feels so complete. … These babies have just brought so much love into my life. My heart feels so full, like it could burst, and every day is like a new adventure.”
We love that for her!
