Brooklyn Beckham's Wedding DJ Reveals What Happened During Dance with Victoria
The DJ who worked Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Beckham's wedding has revealed what exactly happened between the photographer and his mom, Victoria Beckham.
During an appearance on ITV's This Morning, DJ Fat Tony explained that he was responsible for providing music for three of the event's six days. "It was a three-day wedding," Tony shared. "I did the welcome party, then I did the wedding and a brunch on the Sunday, which was the most awkward part of it all because everything that had gone on on the actual wedding night was discussed among the guests the next morning."
Tony then walked hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary through the next stage of the night.

What happened during Brooklyn Beckham's dance with his mom
Marc Anthony took the stage and asked Victoria to come to the dance floor while a Latin song was playing. From the sound of it, this was a moment both Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 31, were unprepared for.
"There was no slut dropping, there was no black PVC catsuits, there was no Spice Girl action," Tony said of the dancing. In fact, he continued, the dancing itself was fine, but the timing was certainly questionable. "The word inappropriate, why I said it was inappropriate as well ... it was the timing."
Tony continued: "Basically, Marc Anthony was performing on stage, he then called Brooklyn on to stage. Brooklyn went onto the stage and everyone was expecting it to be Nicola to go up and do the first dance. Marc Anthony asked ‘the most beautifulest woman in the room’ to come to the stage and he says, ‘Victoria, come to the stage.’"
Tony added that Brooklyn appeared "devastated" because he expected to dance with his wife, and Nicola left the room in tears.
"Brooklyn's stuck there on stage and then they do this dance and Marc Anthony's like going, ‘Put your hands on your mother’s hips,’ and it's Latin, it was a Latin thing. The whole situation was really awkward for everyone in the room," Tony added.
What Brooklyn Beckham said about his mom
Brooklyn also recalled the night in a series of dramatic posts shared on social media.
"My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song," Brooklyn wrote. "In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where the scheduled was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life."
Brooklyn and Nicola later decided to renew their vows in 2025 in part so they could "create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment," he also noted.
Brooklyn also insisted he is not open to reconciling with his family, and accused his parents of selling stories about himself and his wife to the media.
