This isn’t just a G-Shock—it’s a collector’s flex. With only 800 examples worldwide, the new MRG-B2000KT3A blends hand-engraved Japanese metalwork, precious gemstones, and bulletproof tech into one of the most exclusive watches Casio has ever made.
Each bezel is handcrafted by Kobayashi Masao, a renowned, third-generation metalsmith and engraved with a phoenix in flight. The mythological bird is a symbol of good fortune, nobility, supreme happiness, and longevity. The kurogane-iro (literally “iron color”) hue, a dark blue-green that element takes on when heated, is meant to represent the iron guard of a Japanese sword. The share is achieved with a green DLC coating applied to deep-layer hardened titanium. The same hardening process is used on the watch’s 54.7×49.8×16.9mm case, which is then arc ion plate-coated to yield a coppery hue. The four bezel screws are set with emeralds, symbolizing wisdom and truth.

The graduated dial color and texture combine to create an homage to a phoenix’s wings in flight. While rose-gold-toned hands, indexes, and sub-dial accents add both contrast and legibility. G-Shock's clad guard structure protects the crown and pushers adding durability and facilitating function operation. Building on that rugged vibe, the MRGB2000KT3A comes on an age-resistant Dura Soft rubber strap with a rose-gold-tone deployant clasp.
Powered by the brand’s Tough Solar technology, the watch runs on light and can function for up to five months in total on a full charge during normal use (in total darkness), or 26 months in power save mode. The movement is accurate to ±15 seconds per month. But when in range, the watch automatically syncs to an atomic clock via multi-band radio control. The MRGB2000KT3A also connects to the Casio Watches app via Bluetooth for auto time adjustment and a watch status display.

As it’s a G-Shock, the watch offers the brand’s hallmark impact and magnetic resistance, plus it’s good for a 200 meter dive. Additionally, the MRGB2000KT3A offers world time for 27 time zones, home city time swapping, auto summer time, a stopwatch, hourly and daily alarms, an LED (Super Illuminator), and a full auto-calendar up to the year 2099.
The MRGB2000KT3A is limited to 800 pieces worldwide and is available now at casio.com.
