Roma want to sign two Tottenham players, but Antonio Conte wants one of them too
There continue to be twists and turns over the future of Mathys Tel, who feels hard done by with the way he has been treated at Tottenham.
Just a few days ago, it emerged that Tottenham had told Tel that he is going nowhere this month, despite the striker asking to be loaned out in search of regular game time, as Paris FC continue to circle over him.
On Monday, Thomas Frank decided to add Dominic Solanke back into the Champions League squad in place of the 20-year-old despite the Frenchman’s impressive form of late.
It was subsequently reported by Florian Plettenberg that Paris FC are continuing to explore a move for Tel, who remains keen on exiting N17 before the end of the month.
Serie A club return to the table for ‘infuriated’ Tottenham star Mathys Tel
A new report in Gazzetta dello Sport has now claimed that the former Bayern Munich man is ‘infuriated’ by Frank’s latest decision to remove Tel from the Champions League squad.
The outlet claims that Tel is disappointed at the way he has been used by the Tottenham head coach this season.
This latest development has seen Roma re-enter the race for the Spurs forward after showing an interest in him earlier this transfer window.
The Giallorossi are also continuing to push for a deal for Radu Dragusin, and are hoping to land both Tottenham players before the window slams shut.

The 20-year-old’s current situation has also attracted the attention of the current reigning Scudetto holders.
Gazzetta say that Antonie Conte’s Napoli are trying to bolster their attack this month, with Noa Lang likely on his way out only six months after joining.
Napoli have now asked for information about Tel, although it remains unclear if a bid will arrive from the Diego Maradona stadium for the Tottenham forward.
