To the editor: Ending MEP shortsighted by President

Thank you for the editorial supporting the Manufacturing Extension Program, or MEP. This funding is urgently needed by the Ohio MEP to continue helping Ohio’s smaller manufacturers compete and grow. This is a poor decision by the Trump Administration to eliminate this program, and it is an unfortunate symptom of efforts to defund scientific and medical research this administration has taken to reduce government spending in such a scattered fashion.
